Having a little fun Sunday

Ken has caught two more possums since my last entry. He and both dog have gone this morning relocating one. He takes them about 10 or more miles away to some woods to let them go. No, he will not let the dogs out. Patches especially would try chasing it.

It is going to be a rainy day here which it has been doing this weekend. Some schools are closed here today and where Mira works in GA also because of flooding.

Have a blessed day everyone. Helen

  1. I have seen a possum here some weeks back and a white skunk. I keep looking for them but never see them. Am always surprised when they see me and run out in front of me heading for the shop or somewhere to hide.

Thank you very much for visiting Pick a Peck of Pixels and for the comment you left me there. Now I want to invite you to stop and look at my Canon camera photographs. They are some of the best I can or have taken. My Canon Blog

  2. They are so cute. Such energy. Maybe Ken could come catch the raccoons which keep getting in my garbage. I told Rick to put bleach in but he would rather clean up the mess.

  4. You must have had a whole family of possems around your house. Sorry to hear of the flooding in your area. Will pray the rain stops for you soon. Wasn't it last summer you were in draught conditions there?

  5. Oh, Daisy & Patches are so cute playing tug o' war with each other. What fun!

It's so nice when dogs are friends with each other.

Boy, maybe Ken could go into the possum catching business. He seems to be quite good at it!

  6. I love to watch the wildlife in my yard..but at times we have to relocate some also. We tend to get over-run with raccoon. I wish they could all stay.

  8. awww they are too cute Helen..

do you use your photo camera to make the video? or a camcorder? I was wondering what the extension is at the end when you make a video? I still can't make anything this long .. it would take over 2 hrs to upload it to youtube..there's got to be a reason it would take me that long it doesn't other people.

  11. Hello Helen,

I have NOT seen any possum's in Clayton County. We didn't get a lot of flooding but we did get some rain. They have NOT closed our work it hasn't flooded at my work thank goodness. I hope you are all well. Tell Mira I said hello and that I would like to send her a card to let her know that I am thinking of her. I hope she is feeling better these days. Tell our husband I said hello as well. Do take care.

  15. Hello Helen, I have caught up reading your posts this Sunday morning. Young possum's were all being killed on the road several weeks ago because over night they must have used the black top because it was warm. A poor possum was in my driveway with a broken front leg and it died shortly after. I am sorry Mira is having to live with back pain and trying to work.
