I been having tremendous back problems this last two weeks and spending a lot of time laying down with my ice packs so this will be a short entry with a few spring pictures I made a few days ago.
I love them all spread out everywhere when they are blooming but if I feel better when they are finished this season I will get Ken to cut them way back.
I hope everyone will have a blessed day and a great weekend. I am sure most of mine will be spent with an ice pack.
Helen

ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous. I love the tulip, my favorite. We all are hoping th back is better soon. The back just doesn't allow the rest of the body to enjoy the nice weather.
ReplyDeleteTAke care and I hope the ice helps.
You take care of yourself Helen. These backs can really be awful. Your azaleas are so pretty.

ReplyDeleteAs usual, you somehow manage to have and take the most beautiful flowers and photos. Love to see them. Feel so sad about Joyce's daughter. And Will is probably so sad, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're in pain again with your back Helen, I hope the ice pack relieves it. Your flowers are gorgeous, it must be lovely to see them outside. I feel so bad for Joyce, I know what it's like to lose a daughter. Jeannette xx
ReplyDeleteHelen,
ReplyDeleteKnow that you are being prayed about and I hope you feel better after a rest and ice packs.
Take care and write when you can. I will be thinking of you!
Love, Merry
Hello Helen, I am a recent follower of your blog and your work is simply amazing!I feel so sorry for Joyce. After going through your blog I simply have to ask you this, would you please consider making a submission to a baby e magazine ? You will find all details here.
ReplyDeletehttp://feministjungle.blogspot.com/2010/05/call-for-submissions.html
The magazine is a celebration of art as a healing power. It dedicated to all those who have survived trauma of some kind.We would love to have a submission from you for our very first edition!
Helen, Your flowers are so very beautiful. I have been thinking of you wondering if your area had been getting the storms that have been flooding some of the states, like Ternesse. My American geography needs refreshing. Also how, is Daisy Mae? I hope she has no more strange episodes like she had had previously. I am dismayed to learn that you are having back problems again. I hope you get relief from it soon. Try to have a great day. Ann
ReplyDeleteHi Helen...and Ken too...just dropping by to say I hope your back is much better!! God Bless...hugs...Ora in KY
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, hope your back gets to feeling better soon. The flowers are all beautiful. I can't imagine having some bushes that large all blooming at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI hurt when you hurt.
ReplyDeleteMy one daughter was operated on for a problem with her back. It was really bad and she would fall down, etc.
I envy your colourful blooms, Helen. Hope your back gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteI pray you're feeling better soon ~ your flowers are gorgeous and I hope you're able to get outside to enjoy them.
ReplyDelete(((Helen))) I've missed your beautiful gorgeous pictures and reading what you and Ken have been up to. Sorry your back is bothering you much. Get well soon!! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteAll of our kids went though the screaming fits, until they puked or fell asleep. Never knew what they saw. I thought maybe when I posted the story that someone would have found a solution. I think they can see angels so if demons are here then I suspect that might be what brings them to scream like they do. I am just thankful that all of our kids are either in or past their 50s or soon gonna get there. We had five.
ReplyDeleteLOL
Thanks for the visit. I was here before so won't comment again.
Your flowers are always so pretty each year. Hope your back feels better and you can enjoy Mother's Day. Many hugs and love, Joyce
ReplyDeleteHelen,
ReplyDeleteYou've outdone yourself again with your photographic talents as well as your green thumbs, You are very gifted. Thanks for sharing. I miss my Mom, too, but I honor her by living the best life I can, she is the one who equipped me to accomplish whatever I have!
From my first breath, until my Mom's last breath, she was there strong for me. Now, I look in the sky and cry a little but don't waste time grieving as she lived a long and happy life and now has no pain. (My Mom died in 1999.) xx Merry
