MRI yesterday

It was really rough . One foot and leg was leaning outward and I wasn't allowed to move a muscle or they would have had to start over, plus it felt like that hip was pushing through the flesh. When they rolled me back far enough to put the contrast stuff in the IV I told him about the foot and leg and he pulled the foot over and buckled it to the other foot.
Then when I finished I couldn't get up. The technician ran and got the other man and they both pulled me up. Around 45 minutes in that thing.  One told the other one that he could feel my body jerking as they were pulling me up. It was hard to start back walking even with my walker. Next Monday is doc day.

Today has been a rough day,
Thanks for your prayers,
Helen

  2. Sorry you had such a bad time of it with that MRI. Hopefully though it will show the doc what is needed to make you feel much better. I'll be praying that something can be done to help you out and that the visit to the doctor will be a good one!

  3. What an ordeal. It sounds like you're feeling miserable. MRI's are always rough at this age. There ought to be an easier way to diagnose. I am glad the technicians helped you up. You take care of yourself. You're in my prayers.

  7. Oh you poor woman. I am so sorry to hear what you are going through Helen. I know when I had my MRI on my back I couldn't move either and the silly woman never offered me a hand up, just walked away. I was trying to roll over to try to get up and was really getting ticked off. LOL! So I know how hard it is and yours is worse than mine. I hope good blessing come out of all of this for you sweetie. Prayers and hugs.

  10. Hope things are improving for you. Thanks for your visit, sorry it's taking me so long to get around. Seems Abe or I have had a doctor's appointment about once a week since Oct. And now I'm doing therapy for my back. I know what you mean laying on a hard surface, flat, kills the back to get back up and off the table. I hope someday some of these technicians know what it feels like. In case i don't make it back around for a while, want to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas.
