Surgery set.

The hospital called this morning with the news that someone had cancelled for Monday morning. 6:00  O'clock AM CST. Suits me fine. The quicker the better. Looking forward to getting it done and put behind me. God willing I will feel lots better.

Have a blessed weekend everyone. Helen

  12. Good morning Helen, thanks for your visit. I'm sorry to say, for some reason the last few months it seems I just don't get around to all the blogs I would like to. In fact I have hit very few. Seems I'm too busy most of the time, actually I think what it is, is the fact it takes me longer to get things done then it use to.

I've been doing the back therapy, don't know how well it's working, still have a lot of lower pain which I think is old arthur. I do have some muscle relaxers I can take, since the back seems to get so tight. Our one daughter said it was so tight it felt like two steel rods one on either side.

I did want to stop by and wish you good luck and a speedy recovery. Hope this surgery will take care of it for good this time and you won't require any further surgeries.

I go back to my oncologist on the 17th. since it's now been five years, I'm hoping I can stop this pill called Femera. I read where that can cause the bones to hurt more. But let's face it, I also turned 75 this past Oct. so I imagine I'm bound to have some aches and pains, it's just that I get tired of it.

Hang in there, more later. Patty

  13. Helen, my dear, I know exactly what you are feeling. Been there through a freak accident and followed within a week with back surgery. I know you will feel much better once the repairs are done. Rest easy and slow. You will be 'back' in the swing of things in no time.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your memories of dried apples and all the things your Mom did with them. Love your company. Reading your comment was like chatting over a cup of coffee.

  14. I know you are recovering from your surgery, but I wanted to drop by and tell you personally. I'm closing my blog down. I just think it's time for a change! I may blog again at some point. If I do I will start a new one!

I'll still be around to visit. Know that I'm praying for you my precious friend!!
