Mira is home

Or maybe I should say Mira is here. Her home is in another place. She will stay here for a few days. A really good friend went to the hospital and got her yesterday and brought here here. It was late when they turned her loose and it was close to midnight by the time they got her meds filled on the way home, got here and we got into bed. She is still having some of the A-fib but they put her on medication so hopefully when she gets settled in it will get better. She is still having to use a walker to walk short places and her back is still giving her trouble. She will be on some antibiotics for two more weeks. This one will be so much shorter time than the other one was. Thank you so much for your comments, Prayers and good thoughts.
Cardinal sunning. I took this one this morning through the storm door.

  16. I know Mira will be comfortable staying there and being cared for by you. :) It will be easier on her to be there. When your at home and your needing to get well, all you can think about is all the things that need doing. I see my chickens doing this sunning from time to time, but have never caught a regular bird doing it! Very cool catch on your camera. You take care of yourself too and don't overdo while Mira is there. XOXO Love, Kelly

  17. I am glad Mira was well enough to come home. At least she is making progress, even if it still sounds like she has a ways to go. After all this with Mira I was so sympathetic to a young woman here who somehow experienced a broken bone in her back without knowing how she did it, was in pain and agony, and leg going very numb, so they did immediate surgery and she is still in pain and agony, and all alone. Her best friend and best support in here died of a sudden heart attack two months ago. Mira is lucky to have such a caring mother, but try to be careful as all the stress could get to you. Interesting photo of a cardinal. That one has the most mixed colors of any I have seen. Gerry
