I am blue

Today I am featuring all blue wildflowers. We planted some places last spring with wildflowers. Most of them didn't come up and bloom until this year. A lot of them have been blue so I thought I would post all blue flowers today. I don't know the names of most of them so I will just put in the pictures.
A couple of them look a lot alike but some have yellow centers and some don't. Some are tilted downward and some are looking up.
Have a blessed weekend everyone. Helen

  21. It must have been a pleasant surprize seeing wildflowers grow that were planted last year finally come up. They are beautiful photos with shapes and color combinations I have never seen before. I only have two 'Early Girl' tomato plants this year which is all I care to take care of. I have two small tomato's on the one plant and will enjoy them when they are ripe in my salad. They are in front of my cabin this year so I can see them out my big window. I grow them in large containers. I saw on TV that the more heat on the roots should make for more growth. Of course they will dry out quicker too, and I don't have a pan large enough yet to hold the drainage water. Have a very good Memorial Day. Mark/Salty

  22. Beautiful blues! I think you have forget me nots, mallow, columbines and bachelor buttons. Whatever they are... you said you planted them last year and now they bloomed for you this year... that means they're perennials ~ so now you'll have many years of enjoyment of them! Especially in year three ... if you let them go to seed.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend!!
