Full moon
I tried folks. It was to cold to stand out there long. I never got one without the small blue ring around it and when I backed off the zoom you couldn't see the craters on it. I had it set on the auto setting of course and used no tripod. I couldn't stand for any length of time either.

I think it is a stunning shot. Well done Helen.
ReplyDeleteThe moon is in focus so the blue ring must be a light condition. Perhaps a polaroid filter would change it. However it does not diminish the appearance with the ring present. I have pushed it a little with my dumbbells and the numbness in my left hand/arm seems to have improved. My left hand ended up feeling 'jammed' and I could not bend it yesterday until I kept moving it open and closed. I have a large scar on my left shoulder where the lipoma was ripped away from the inside during surgery. It had grown into my muscle's and had been moving position for years before removal. Apparently the scar tissue is pinching nerves. I took yesterday off from the dumbbells and can feel the difference a week of exercise did to my upper back. I will continue to do what I can to improve the quality of my life as living in constant pain is something I just accept. Knowing what is causing the pain give's information that makes a therapy become apparent. I have had physical therapist's tell me for years about the need for exercise. Take care and do what you can knowing that things can improve. I will keep you and your family in my thought's and wish you a Merry Christms. mark
ReplyDeleteVery good shot of the moon. would have loved to have seen the blue ring.
ReplyDeleteI sure would like to walk on the moon. What a thrill that must have been.
Hope ALL the pain goes away!!!!!

fabulous shot helen !!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, you ought to have a medal for this one. Some folks journal with their dying breath but you will be snapping away with a camera with yours. You might even catch sight of an angel someday with your camera! You gave me my lift for the day. Gerry
ReplyDeleteaww gee Helen...beautiful pic of the moon..and you sure have a talent for taking pics...glad you could stand long enough for us to enjoy...and I know what you mean by the cold...it is bone chilling here...35 degrees..some wind...which make keeping the house warm a bit hard...so I have put on another shirt..and have my lap quilt over my legs just now LOL..more than one way to skin a cat (or keep warm) whichever it may be!!! God Bless...hugs to you...and one for Ken too...Ora in KY

You did very well taking that picture without a tripod, Helen. I never saw that full moon, weather too awful
ReplyDeleteHello from E Tenn. Just thinking about you folks and hoping all is going good for you. I was looking at some fishing pictures today and it made me "fishing-sick" ... that's homesick for some fishing.
