Ken is coming home today
I talked to Ken this morning and he can come home after awhile. He is still in a good deal of pain and the doc say he will continue to have it for several weeks. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts. We both appreciate them very much.
Have a blessed day everyone. Helen
This is good news that he can come home. You both must be relieved. I'm sure he is looking forward to his homecoming. Hopefully in time the pain he's experiencing will subside. In the meantime, hang in there. You're in my prayers and thoughts today.
ReplyDeleteI am glad they are keeping him until he feels more comfortable. He might want to be home but with all the pain he is in good hands. We will continue to pray he heals fast and the pain goes away.
ReplyDeleteHome is the best place to rest and heal. I know he'll be glad to get home and that you'll be relieved too.
ReplyDeleteHe will feel better at home. Take care Helen
ReplyDeleteGlad he is well enough to be releases. I hope he is pleasantly surprised and the pain goes away sooner.
ReplyDeleteLove, prayer & good wishes from Central Florida.
I have been thinking of you and Ken, Helen. I'm sorry he is in pain but it sounds as if he will soon be up and around. It was nice that you posted and let us know.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful news Helen. Ken will heal quicker at home, I'm so happy he's able to get out of the hospital. xx
ReplyDeleteStopping by to see how you all are doing. Hope Ken is doing ok.
ReplyDeleteI'm very glad for the four of you Helen. I'm sure Patches and Daisy Mae missed him a bunch too. Keeping you and Ken in my prayers... God Bless you

I read both entries (Sept.26,27) on Ken's surgery. I have been trying to do all the necessary finishing around my addition to be able to heat it this winter. I wanted to let you know I have been keeping Ken in my thought's. It seems he came through the surgery fine and now will feel better every day. I had a pulmonary embolism my first knee surgery which kept me in the hospital longer and was unpleasant. My new roomate was a Korean War Veteran having had a stroke and we became good friends. I knew he was having a tough time due to the stoke. He told about the Korean War which I found to be very interesting. It is warm here now for awhile and will change toward the end of the week. Take good care of Ken and I will keep him in my thoughts. mark/
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy your Ken got released from the hospital, tho, sometimes, I think they let them out too soon...insurances have too much say in that department where they do not belong. My prayers for a speedy recovery and rest for the both of you. Take care of 'you' too.

So glad everything is going well. Abe's throat was very sore, but they had a tube down his nose into the throat then into his stomach draining it so he wouldn't vomit. That tube irritated his throat a lot. They think Abe is getting another one. He had an aortic kind, and this one is pretty much in same area, but small yet, so they will keep watching it for now. Hope hubby is home and all is going well an you both have a fantastic week-end.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear what you and Ken have been through. But thanking and praising God for a successful surgery and Ken's continued healing!
ReplyDeleteI am glad the surgery is over and that the prognosis is good. It's a shame how much pain is caused by surgery I hope it goes away faster than they said.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad he is doing well enough to come home. Just being home will make him feel better. Sorry so late getting around. The kids are hogging the computer these days.
