Ken is coming home today

I talked to Ken this morning and he can come home after awhile. He is still in a good deal of pain and the doc say he will continue to have it for several weeks. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts. We both appreciate them very much.
Have a blessed day everyone. Helen

  1. This is good news that he can come home. You both must be relieved. I'm sure he is looking forward to his homecoming. Hopefully in time the pain he's experiencing will subside. In the meantime, hang in there. You're in my prayers and thoughts today.

  10. I read both entries (Sept.26,27) on Ken's surgery. I have been trying to do all the necessary finishing around my addition to be able to heat it this winter. I wanted to let you know I have been keeping Ken in my thought's. It seems he came through the surgery fine and now will feel better every day. I had a pulmonary embolism my first knee surgery which kept me in the hospital longer and was unpleasant. My new roomate was a Korean War Veteran having had a stroke and we became good friends. I knew he was having a tough time due to the stoke. He told about the Korean War which I found to be very interesting. It is warm here now for awhile and will change toward the end of the week. Take good care of Ken and I will keep him in my thoughts. mark/

  11. I'm so happy your Ken got released from the hospital, tho, sometimes, I think they let them out too soon...insurances have too much say in that department where they do not belong. My prayers for a speedy recovery and rest for the both of you. Take care of 'you' too.

  12. So glad everything is going well. Abe's throat was very sore, but they had a tube down his nose into the throat then into his stomach draining it so he wouldn't vomit. That tube irritated his throat a lot. They think Abe is getting another one. He had an aortic kind, and this one is pretty much in same area, but small yet, so they will keep watching it for now. Hope hubby is home and all is going well an you both have a fantastic week-end.

  14. I am glad the surgery is over and that the prognosis is good. It's a shame how much pain is caused by surgery I hope it goes away faster than they said.
